Family Overnight Adventure
on the Star of India
Come spend a night aboard the world's oldest active sailing ship.
Imagine what life was like for immigrants and crew who lived aboard the Star of India during the Great Age of Sail.
The imaginary voyage back to the 1870s begins at 3:00 p.m. Saturday and ends at 9:00 a.m. Sunday.
Living history staff will be your time travel guides as you raise sail, rig a bosun's chair, hoist cargo, sing sea chanteys, learn about celestial navigation, and eat "rat stew." All while never leaving the dock.
Overnight Summer 2013 dates TBD.
