Festival of Sail 2013
Friday August 30 thru Monday September 2, 2013 Labor Day weekend. Open 9am to 7pm daily.

Fun for the Entire Family

Festival of Sail is the LARGEST Tall Ship festival on the west coast and is hosted at the Maritime Museum of San Diego, transforming the North Embarcadero into a nautical theme park for 4 adventure filled days.

Held over Labor Day weekend each year, we start with a parade! On Thursday, a day before FOS (Festival of Sail) vendors and ships open to the public, you can watch the ships majestically sail into San Diego bay, enjoy cannon fire salutes, and seeing the ships ending their journey at the Maritime Museum's docks. A limited number of tickets are made available to participate being aboard during the tall ship parade.

Daily Activities during Festival of Sail: visit the visiting ships and crew, kids petting zoo with a variety of animals, Tall ship cannon battles, Treasure Seeker Pirate themed bay cruises, a special 30 minute Festival of Sail bay cruise, and over 100's of arts and craft vendors, plus a multitude of food options, adult refreshments aboard the historic Berkeley ferryboat & on the west mooring platform, interaction with pirates, and so much more...
