Opens aboard the Star of India Jan 12, 2012

Aboard STAR of INDIA's STAR Gallery in the forward hold.

We are pleased to present the most expansive exhibition of Jack London photographs ever to be mounted, over 50 stunning images.

Best known for his novel, The Call of the Wild, London's photojournalist work includes documenting events in the Pacific.

The exhibit focus is on Refugees of the Russo-Japanese War for Hearst Syndicate 1904, ruins of the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake, adventures in the South Sea Islands 1907-08, and rounding Cape Horn onboard, the barque, DIRIGO in 1912.

We gratefully acknowledge the Huntington Library and the California State Parks, as our partners in introducing this extraordinary exhibit. Financial support has been provided by the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture.
