Join us on a Historic Walking Tour!

11:00 a.m. (1st departure) and 1:00 p.m. (2nd departure)
FREE to everyone
Meets/begins at the USS San Diego Memorial (near the "G" Street pier parking lot) and ends at the Maritime Museum of San Diego
(You will find your guide by looking for the person holding a flag with a Maritime Museum of San Diego logo.)
The Port of San Diego and the Maritime Museum of San Diego invite you to join us on a guided walk along the Embarcadero & San Diego Bay. A knowledgeable guide will entertain you with interesting tid-bits of history as the group walks north along San Diego Bay:
- San Diego - Tuna capital of the world...
- Linbergh's Spirit of St. Louis origins & construction...
- Tribute to the "Greatest Generation"...
- San Diego had the only large commercial marine terminal in Southern California...
- Find out about these bits of San Diego history and much, much more as your guide fills you in while you walk along the bay.

Family Day

Come aboard and get the whole family involed in the special activities on our ships:
- The kids maritime craft activity will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Children 12 years and under are admitted free (2 per paying adult)
- An additional $3.00 per person adds a Historic Bay Cruise on San Diego Bay to your day of fun

Sweetheart Sail

February is Museum Month in San Diego
The month of February 2010 brings you a great deal at the Maritime Museum and other local museums. During Museum Month, you can pick up a free Museum Month pass at any Macy’s location in San Diego County. This pass can be used from February 1-28, 2010 for half-price admission for up to four guests per visit at 39 of San Diego’s museums and historical sites.
