Join the celebration as part of the flotilla of ships that sails into San Diego Bay to kick off Festival of Sail! Be on board the official tall ship of California, Californian, as she leads the parade of visiting ships down San Diego Bay and to their docking spaces at the Maritime Museum.

Please consider bringing a jacket, hat and sun screen. We also encourage bringing a light nonperishable snack. Coolers are not allowed, only bagged lunches. Sodas and water will be available for your enjoyment.
FAQ:Does the Parade Sail ticket include admission to the FOS event?
It does not. Only the parade sail and admission to the museum, San Salvador site, and its exhibits for Thursday 8-28-14 only.

Where do we check-in to board the Californian?
Check-in at the white information booth in front of the Berkeley ferry boat.
Are there restrooms on board the Californian?
Yes (in boat speak they are called heads).

We do not mail tickets. Print and retain your confirmation and present it at check in. If you are late you will forfeit your ticket. It is important that you arrive at least 30 min before your scheduled check-in time to allow time for parking, check-in and boarding. Bring your confirmation to the Check-in at the white information booth in front of the Berkeley ferry boat. NO LATE CHECK-INS. Please be there by 8:30am.

Online sales will end at 8:00a.m. on the day of the cruise or when this cruise is sold out (whichever comes first).
WHAT TO BRING
If you are prone to sea-sickness please take medication prior to departure. It is a good idea to bring a hat, jacket or sweater, sunscreen, and ear protection. Snacks or soft drinks will be for sale on board. You may also want to bring ear plugs.
All bags brought on board are subject to search. You will not be allowed to bring weapons, alcoholic beverages, chairs or strollers on board.

Parade sails may be postponed or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, mechanical problems, safety concerns or for any reason determined by Maritime Museum of San Diego staff to be sufficient cause to cancel or postpone the cruise.
