- The Berkeley: A Pioneering West Coast Ferryboat
Product Description
The 1898 San Francisco Bay ferryboat Berkeley was the first successful propeller-driven double-ended ferry in the West. Richly illustrated in color and black-and-white, this book chronicles the now-vanished world of California ferryboats. Though that world is gone, Berkeley is lovingly preserved today at the Maritime Museum of San Diego.
