Each July, San Diego Bay lights up with one of the city’s most anticipated Independence Day fireworks displays, a beloved tradition enjoyed by families, visitors, and locals alike. Celebrated along the waterfront, it’s a spectacular way to experience the Fourth of July in San Diego.

For an elevated holiday experience, guests can enjoy a festive BBQ dinner aboard the historic Berkeley. From this prime location along the Star of India Wharf, dinner guests enjoy outstanding views of the fireworks as they illuminate the harbor—paired with classic BBQ fare and a relaxed summer atmosphere.

The Maritime Museum also offers fireworks viewing-only tickets aboard the world-famous tall ship Star of India. Guests can watch the fireworks from her historic decks while enjoying drinks from a cash bar. Whether you choose dinner or deckside viewing, the Maritime Museum offers a truly memorable way to celebrate the Fourth of July on San Diego Bay.
